The Agronomy Guide
The Penn State Agronomy Guide is designed for easy reading and quick reference. In Part One — Crop and Soil Management, the chapters on specific crops include information about: varieties, nutritional requirements, establishment, harvesting and special considerations. In Part Two — Pest Management, the chapters on pest control for specific crops include sections on: weeds, insects, and diseases.

Agricultural Alternatives
Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, with support from the USDA-Extension Service has developed a series of publications called Agricultural Alternatives to meet the need for this type of information. These enterprise-oriented fact sheets are prepared with the assistance of field staff and specialists in agricultural economics, agronomy, dairy and animal science, entomology, forestry, horticulture, plant pathology, and poultry science.
